Clocks

Ordinary Clocks (OCs) 普通时钟

单个PTP端口，一般为系统终端设备。Acting as either the Grandmaster (GM), a Passive (backup to the GM), or a consumer of time acting in the Slave state. 普通时钟只能处于唯一的一种状态，可以是主时钟，也可以是从时钟。

逻辑端口

一个物理端口通过两个逻辑端口通信

  1. Event interface：发送和接收event报文
  2. General interface: 发送和接收general报文

在网络中的角色

  1. Grand-master clock
  2. Slave clock in Master-Slave hierarchy

Boundary Clocks (BC) 边界时钟

多个PTP端口，通常为网络中的路由器或交换机等通信设备。边界时钟所有端口的时钟是公用的，公用一个本地时间。
